EarnPeer — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using EarnPeer ("the Platform", "we", "us", "our"), you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and anyone who accesses or uses EarnPeer's services.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-platform notice.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use EarnPeer.
  • You must be a human individual — automated accounts, bots, or scripts are strictly prohibited.
  • You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
  • EarnPeer may not be available in all countries. You are responsible for ensuring the Platform is legally accessible in your region.

3. Account registration & security

  • You may register using a supported OAuth provider (e.g. Google). By doing so, you authorize EarnPeer to access basic profile information from that provider.
  • You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activity that occurs under it.
  • You must notify us immediately at support@earnpeer.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
  • EarnPeer reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for extended periods.
  • You may not transfer, sell, or share your account with any other person.

4. Survey & task participation

EarnPeer is a rewards and earning platform that allows users to participate in surveys, tasks, offers, and other earning activities ("Activities"). By participating:

  • You agree to provide honest, accurate, and thoughtful responses to all surveys and tasks.
  • You acknowledge that survey responses may be used for market research, academic research, product development, or commercial purposes by EarnPeer and its third-party partners.
  • You must not submit duplicate, random, or intentionally misleading responses. Detected fraud will result in earnings forfeiture and account termination.
  • Survey availability is not guaranteed. We do not promise a minimum number of Activities or earnings.
  • EarnPeer and its partners reserve the right to disqualify you from a survey mid-way if you do not meet the target demographic criteria.
  • Disqualified surveys may not be rewarded unless otherwise stated at the point of entry.
  • We may use automated quality checks, including attention-check questions, to validate response integrity.

5. Earnings, rewards & withdrawals

  • Earnings are credited to your EarnPeer balance upon successful completion and verification of an Activity.
  • All earnings are subject to a verification period of up to 30 days before becoming eligible for withdrawal.
  • EarnPeer reserves the right to withhold, reverse, or forfeit earnings found to be obtained through fraudulent, abusive, or prohibited activity.
  • Minimum withdrawal thresholds apply and may vary by payment method. These are displayed in your account dashboard.
  • Withdrawal processing times may vary depending on the chosen payout method (e.g. PayPal, bank transfer, gift cards).
  • EarnPeer is not responsible for delays or failures caused by third-party payment processors.
  • Earnings may be subject to applicable taxes in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes owed.
  • EarnPeer does not guarantee any specific earning amounts. Displayed estimates are approximations only.
  • Unclaimed balances inactive for more than 12 months may be subject to forfeiture at EarnPeer's discretion.

6. Data collection & privacy

By using EarnPeer, you consent to the collection and processing of the following categories of data:

  • Account data: name, email address, profile picture (obtained via OAuth provider).
  • Survey & response data: answers to surveys and tasks, including demographic, opinion, and behavioral data.
  • Usage data: pages visited, time spent, click patterns, device type, browser, and IP address.
  • Earnings data: activity history, reward balances, and withdrawal records.
  • Communication data: messages you send to our support team.

This data is used to operate and improve the Platform, match you to relevant surveys, share anonymized responses with research partners, detect fraud, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personally identifiable information to third parties.

7. Third-party survey partners

  • EarnPeer works with third-party survey providers and market research companies ("Partners") who may present surveys through our Platform.
  • By participating in a Partner survey, you may be redirected to a third-party environment. Their terms and privacy policies apply during that session.
  • EarnPeer is not responsible for the data practices of third-party Partners once you leave our Platform.
  • Partner surveys may collect additional data directly from you. You will be informed at the point of entry.

8. Cookies & tracking

  • EarnPeer uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain session state, personalize your experience, and analyze platform usage.
  • Session cookies are required for authentication and cannot be disabled without affecting Platform functionality.
  • Analytics and preference cookies may be opted out of via your browser settings or our cookie consent tool.
  • Third-party partners may set their own cookies when you interact with their surveys.

9. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • Create multiple accounts to gain additional rewards (multi-accounting).
  • Use VPNs, proxies, or location-spoofing tools to access surveys not intended for your region.
  • Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to complete surveys or tasks.
  • Submit intentionally false, random, or low-quality responses.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit any part of the Platform.
  • Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with Platform services.
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other users or EarnPeer staff.
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.

Violation of any of the above may result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of all accumulated earnings.

10. Intellectual property

  • All content, branding, design, software, and materials on EarnPeer are the property of EarnPeer or its licensors.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without prior written consent.
  • By submitting survey responses through the Platform, you grant EarnPeer a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use and process that content in accordance with these Terms.

11. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

  • EarnPeer is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to the Platform.
  • EarnPeer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
  • Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total amount earned by you on the Platform in the 3 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

  • You may close your account at any time by contacting support@earnpeer.com.
  • EarnPeer may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms.
  • Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Any unverified or pending earnings may be forfeited.

13. Governing law & disputes

  • These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where EarnPeer operates.
  • Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
  • If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or courts of competent jurisdiction.
  • You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit against EarnPeer.
